Bringing together players, parents, coaches, administrators, officials and many of the Legends who helped to make it all possible for thousands of youngsters over several decades in the last century. It was a chance to say hello to all, thank you to many, and sadly... goodbye to some. The memories from that evening will remain embedded forever in the minds of all who attended. Return to Reunion 2025 Attendee Quotes & Comments Best part of the hockey reunion was to be able to say thank you to the Men that shaped us not only as players, but as men. Coaches, team executives, managers, trainers and officials don’t usually get the standing ovations. Last night, they did. And they deserved it. Great people who gave of their time to teach us the game of hockey and the game of life. This event was a fitting tribute to those great men. Thank You! Wow, I just got back from the New Jersey Hockey History Reunion. So awesome to see old friends, players, coaches and architects of youth hockey in NJ. This was phenomenal! Saw my first ever travel coach, Doc Felber. My dad would have loved this. Great times!!! Zero words in the English language to describe what I’m feeling right now. Only way to describe it would be… it was like finding a time machine and going back to 1984, and not wanting to come back. Trying to process everything and I doubt I will sleep at all tonight. I could not walk more than ten feet without seeing someone with a connection to my hockey past. This night will be hard to top. This MUST happen again. Le retour. What an epic trip on this jump over. Muchas Gracias goes out to Jim Szymanski for his vision on hosting and putting together a truly epic Hockey Reunion for the ages. Reconnecting with my former coaches and old teammates from back in the day was truly thrilling – lots of laughter, and even some tears. An event for the ages! On Friday, October 18, 2019, more than 160 of New Jersey hockey’s finest gathered together in West Orange, NJ for a very special evening. This video compilation endeavors to capture the mood and feelings of those who attended; through photos, video clips and quotes. Runtime: 38 minutes Priceless Memories While photos can't possibly capture the vibe in the room that evening, they do provide a sense of what everyone was feeling. An amazing night indeed. Old Timers Game What would a hockey reunion be without some old timers getting back on the ice? Fun was had by all, as if they were playing PeeWee hockey again.
